Triptych premiered in Tribeca on September 26, 2009.  This short film, directed, written, and edited by Dana Variano with the generosity of the Screen Actor's Guild, explores the lives of three 30-somethings trying to find their way through life in New York City. It was written from a realist perspective, and shot using as much natural light and diegetic sound as possible in order to enhance that effect. Watch the complete video below.

The Music

The music for this video is going to be written by Denver Dalley, of "Statistics" and "Desaparecidos."  Denver has graciously volunteered to write an original soundtrack for Triptych. Check out some of his music here.

Artists Mike Sgambati and John Kotch Jr. have written “E/Utopia,” which will feature as Derek’s (John Patrick Hayden) favorite song.
